Welcome to Staffera.in (operated by Staffera , having its registered office in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh). These Terms govern your use of our recruitment automation platform, including all features, APIs, and associated services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or accessing Staffera, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of Staffera

1.1 Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind your organization (the “Client”). Staffera is designed for recruiters, HR teams, and hiring businesses across India.

1.2 Account responsibilities. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including any integrations with your ATS or job boards. Notify us immediately at support@staffera.in if you suspect unauthorized use.

2. Subscription & payments

2.1 Plans. Staffera offers monthly and annual subscriptions in INR. Fees are based on the number of active jobs or recruiters (as specified in your order).

2.2 Invoicing. Payment is due within 15 days of invoice. Late payments may result in suspension of the Service. All fees are non‑refundable, except as required by law.

2.3 Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable GST, which will be added to invoices. Our GSTIN will be provided on the invoice.

3. Intellectual property

3.1 Our IP. Staffera owns all rights to the platform, software, and underlying technology. You receive a limited, non‑transferable license to use the Service during your subscription.

3.2 Your data. You retain all rights to job descriptions, candidate profiles, and notes you enter into Staffera. By submitting, you grant Staffera a license to host and process this data solely to provide the Service (including anonymized analytics to improve the platform).

4. Confidentiality & security

We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data (ISO 27001 aligned). Both parties agree to keep confidential any non‑public business information exchanged during the use of Staffera.

5. Third‑party services

Staffera integrates with services like LinkedIn, Naukri.com, Indeed, and background check providers. We do not assume liability for the acts or omissions of these third parties.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Staffera shall not be liable for indirect damages (including lost revenue or hiring delays). Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time via the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 60 days unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.

8. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Staffera.in (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use Staffera, visit our website, or interact with our recruitment services. It applies to clients (recruiters) and candidates whose data is processed through the platform, in compliance with the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000, and the SPDI Rules.

1. Who controls your data?

Staffera , with registered office at, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh – 273001, India, is the data controller for client account data. For candidate data processed on behalf of our clients, the recruiting organisation (client) is the data controller, and Staffera is the processor. Our Grievance Officer (as per Rule 5(9) of the SPDI Rules) can be reached at info@staffera.in.

2. How we use personal data

For clients: to manage your account, provide support, send service updates, and improve Staffera. Legitimate interest: enhance recruitment features, prevent fraud.

For candidates: to enable the recruitment process (matching, screening, scheduling interviews) based on our client’s instruction. Where required by Indian law, we obtain consent (e.g., for sensitive personal data like caste, disability, or biometric information).

3. Sharing your data

We never sell your personal data to third parties for marketing.

4. International transfers

Staffera primarily stores data on servers located in India (AWS Mumbai region). In limited cases, data may be processed outside India (e.g., customer support tools). For such transfers, we ensure adequate safeguards and compliance with Indian IT Act provisions.

5. Data retention

Client accounts: retained as long as your account is active, plus up to 8 years after closing for tax and legal compliance (Indian Companies Act).
Candidate profiles: retained according to our client’s retention policy (typically up to 2 years after last interaction, unless deleted earlier). You can request erasure via the recruiting organisation.

6. Your rights (India)

Under Indian law and the emerging data protection framework, you have rights to: access, correction, and deletion of your personal data. Candidates should direct requests to the recruiting organisation first; we will assist as processor. For client data, email privacy@staffera.in. We will respond within 30 days as per SPDI Rules.

7. Cookies & tracking

Staffera uses essential cookies to operate (session tokens, security). We also use optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics, CleverTap) to understand usage. You can manage preferences via our cookie consent tool. Detailed cookie policy available here.

8. Security

We employ encryption (TLS 1.3), access controls, and regular audits. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected clients and the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) as required.
